I had a great experience at Stoney Creek Family Dental. The staff here is very nice and welcoming. The dental office follows maximum covid precautions and I felt extremely safe at both of my visits. I came in for a check-up which included x-ray/pictures of my teeth and a cleaning. I came back for two preventative fillings as well. Both visits were completed efficiently and comfortably. Both the dental hygienist and Dr. Martins took their time to have personal conversations with me and additional conversations about my oral care as well. My siblings and I urgently needed a visit to the dentist (due to covid we hadn’t been in a while). I tried calling other dentists in the area, but was often met with “Can you call back tomorrow, we have a lot of people in the office right now”, or calls that went to the voicemail system maybe because of how busy the lines always were. Well one day, I decided to give Stoney Creek a try. I was blessed to be able to come in to the dentist as a new patient for a cleaning, scanning, x-ray, etc., the very next day😁. My siblings also were able to get booked in a week or 2 after, instead of waiting 6 months with another dentist we tried. The staff are genuinely kind, welcoming and honest which lightened the whole experience. I think it’s safe to conclude, based on my experience, that this office strives to serve patients with care, compassion and high quality. Dr. Hesham Sherghin, BSC, DDS, AEGD
Dr. Hesham Sherghin received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2011, where he was named to the Dean’s List. He then completed a yearlong Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at St. Johns Providence Health System in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Sherghin was the class Vice-President and served as an active member of several societies and organizations. He was the recipient of numerous awards and distinctions including the Most Cooperative Student Award, and Pre-Doctoral Achievement Award-International Congress of Oral Implantology as well as other academic awards and scholarships. Dr. Sherghin is an active member of several study clubs in the London area, the RCDSO, The ODA, and CDA. Although he is very busy he always finds time to support his community by sponsoring some of his young patients and their youth sports’ teams. He also enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family and looking for ways to further educate himself so he can provide the best possible care for his patients.
